Northland Events Centre

Construction of a $16 million Northland Events Centre is now complete at Whāngārei's Okara Park.  This project - jointly funded by the Northland Regional and Whāngārei District Councils - opened for business in June 2010.  The District Council and an independent trust are now responsible for the centre's operation and maintenance.
