Whakamānawa ā Taiao – Environmental Awards

We believe in recognising, celebrating, and encouraging community environmental protection and enhancement efforts across the region.

The awards recognise the people and organisations making a difference to help Te Taitokerau thrive. It’s a chance to celebrate those who go above and beyond to protect, improve, and enhance our Northland environment and help ensure our unique and precious taonga are protected and enhanced for future generations. The awards are for Northland-based projects, activities, or initiatives that demonstrate a significant benefit to the region’s environment. Entrants can be individuals, community groups, schools, whānau, hapū, iwi businesses or leaders and can apply in up to two of the nine environmental categories featured.
