Marine reserves

The Department of Conservation (DoC) is responsible for New Zealand’s marine reserves. To find out where they are and how to safely visit them, check out: www.doc.govt.nz/marinereserves

Taharoa Domain (Kai Iwi Lakes)

The Taharoa Domain Governance Committee provides oversight from iwi and other representatives. Kaipara District Council manages the lakes, and administers the campground, at Taharoa Domain. Visit the website: www.kaipara.govt.nz
