A review of river microbial water quality data in the Northland region

This report reviews the long-term microbial water quality (as indicated by Escherichia coli or E. coli) data collected in rivers and streams across the Northland region to:

1. Understand the current state,
2. Identify any key drivers affecting microbial water quality, and
3. Provide advice on mitigation options that could be adopted in Northland.
